Snapshots from Cartagena, Colombia
I recently had the privilege to travel to Cartagena, Colombia an it instantly became my new favorite city. The culture, language, architecture, people, and the layout of the city are just some of the many things that I loved. I stayed inside The Walled City which is a popular neighborhood for tourists. Even though it was a tourist area, the amount of history that still exists there is remarkable.
Everything inside The Walled City is walking distance which I loved. Here are some of my top recommendations:
Breakfast: Epoca
I loved starting my morning with one of their smoothies. They also have a lot of options for breakfast, as well as amazing service!
Bar: Alquimico
One of the things I appreciated about Cartagena was the night life! Alquimico was by far the best bar. It had a great vibe and the music was fantastic. It is frequently ranked as one of the best bars in the entire world.
Dinner: Andres Carne de Res Cartagena
I visited the location inside the mall and it was truly a vibe. The food, drinks, service and the live music were a 10/10. Highly recommend!
