Here's all You Need to Know About the Beautiful Catalina Island

Catalina is an underrated vacation spot! It’s such a quaint little island and definitely worth a visit. There are two sections to the island- Avalon (the main area) and Two Harbors. Both have amazing hiking and beaches however Avalon is more built up and has more things to do.

What we did: We took the ferry into Avalon from Long Beach. We stayed at Hotel Atwater which was beautiful! Most people use golf carts to get around the island so we rented one for a few hours and drove around taking in all of the beautiful scenery. Lastly, we rented a cabana at Descanso Beach which came with food and bottle service. I highly recommend this option if you want to be pampered 😃.
