A Quick Guide to Palm Springs
A weekend getaway to Palm Springs is a great escape from the hustle of Los Angeles. The beautiful palm trees, bright sunny days, laid back vibes and great hikes bring thousands of visitors every year. Here is a recap of the trip! We stayed at the Margaritaville Resort Palm Springs. It was close to downtown Palm Springs where you can find amazing shopping and restaurants. The resort itself was huge and family friendly.
The main hiking areas are Coachella Valley Preserve - Thousand Palms Oasis Preserve and Indian Canyons. Both have amazing desert oasis views. Make sure to be extra careful if you decide to hike the trails in the summer as temperatures easily reach 105.
Of course while in Palms I had to check out this Instagram-worthy coffee shop called Café La Jefa. Not only was the decor gorgeous, but the coffee was fantastic! A must visit if you ever visit Palm Springs.
