The 5 Best and Fanciest Restaurants in LA

If you’re in Los Angeles, here’s a roundup of restaurants that live up to the hype! When it comes to food, drinks and ambiance, these restaurants continue to rank in the top 5 spots. Let’s jump right in.

Castaway, Burbank CA
Every time I have visitors coming into Los Angeles this is my favorite place to take them. The views and the food are incredible. Castaway is located in the hills of Burbank and overlooks a beautiful golf course. They have a steak-forward menu, with lots of options to chose from. The whole experience from valet, to sitting down and eating your food is like none other. Highly consider making a reservation here!

The Rooftop by JG, Beverly Hills CA
You will feel like an absolute celebrity eating at this restaurant, and you also might see one! The rooftop gives you gorgeous views of Los Angeles. Colorful flowers line the walkway as you enter the restaurant, and there are plenty opportunities for a quick photoshoot before sitting down. The service is impeccable, and the food is bold and delicious. This is my favorite restaurant to celebrate a birthday or other important milestone. Reservations highly recommended!

Catch LA, West Hollywood CA

You can’t visit LA without coming to catch! It’s a gorgeous restaurant (more photo ops) and they have amazing seafood and drinks. If you love sushi and a great atmosphere, this is for sure going to be your spot. It’s a very “LA” restaurant as in it’s a place people go to see and be seen. But the food and overall experience is fantastic which is why it made the list.

Ysabel, West Hollywood CA

Ysabel serves “new American” cuisine in an intimate setting, and is one of my go-to places for a steak dinner. You enter through a paved tunnel and once you reach the end you’re greeted with a beautiful courtyard decorated in flowers and dim lights. It’s super romantic and perfect for a date night. I also love their brunch menu. I always order the pancakes and they are probably the best pancakes I’ve had to date!

Joeys, Downtown Los Angeles CA

Joey’s is another must visit if you’re in LA. It’s originally a chain restaurant from Canada, but it’s making it’s way around the U.S. Joey’s made the top 5 list because they have some of my favorite drinks and dishes of all time! Their menu is diverse, offering everything from pasta to sushi to vegan and vegetarian options. Make a reservation for their open dining room or relax outside on their street level patio.
