4 Fall Activities to do in the Los Angeles Area

Happy October! Even though the weather is pretty warm in Los Angeles, I still love to experience the fall season by doing Halloween themed activities. October is one of my favorite months because it’s the calm before all the crazy holiday shenanigans start! I also really love Halloween! As you probably already know, there’s a bunch of fall activities around the Los Angeles area. I compiled a list of places that you should absolutely checkout!

  1. Zoomars at River Street Ranch, San Juan Capistrano
Zoomars is located at a ranch between Los Angeles and San Diego. It has a petting zoo, train rides, pony rides and more. It’s beautifully decorated and will give you all the fall vibes! It’s perfect for families or you could even go with your friends and take cute photos!

2. Carved @ Descanso Gardens, La Cañada Flintridge
Running now through October 29th, Carved is a light show and pumpkin wonderland. Walk through the enchanted gardens and take in all the beautiful sights to get you into the fall spirit. Perfect for families or a date night with your boo.

3. Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch, Culver City
Running now through October 29, this pumpkin patch is filled with rides, games, food and of course, pumpkins! This place has everything you need to get into the Halloween spirit. The grounds are beautiful and there are photo ops everywhere. It’s really a fun vibe and I highly recommend visiting around sunset while its cooler. Don’t forget to grab your bestie and a hot chocolate!

4. Nights of the Jack, Calabasas
I’ve been attending this event for years. It’s one of the best experiences and there’s so much to see. Nights of the jack is open now through October 31st and it’s perfect because it has all the spooky vibes but it’s not scary. You will spend a lot of time walking through the grounds and admiring all of the decorations. They also have food trucks on the property!
